TONI ANN HOFFMAN

Product designer

It's no secret that I love makeup—so much so that I enjoy exploring every aspect of it. From the ritual of applying it to the tactile pleasure of its packaging, I find joy in immersing myself in the world of cosmetics. I hope to channel that excitement into my designs and, one day, see them come to life — allowing others to hold that exact moment of joy in their hands.

As a designer, I didn’t feel that Glossier embodied the brand’s aesthetic and image in their Monochromes eyeshadow palette. I decided to have my own take on how I - a product designer - would’ve designed the Glossier Monochromes eyeshadow palette.

GLOSSIER EYESHADOW

The Cocoon is the outcome of a lighting project that gave me the freedom to do anybody for a lighting piece. I wanted, most importantly, to play with the way light is affected by bodies and layers.

The Routine Chair embodies peace in my daily life. It is where I find comfort at the start of my morning routine to where I end up before bed. It is simply to bring ease into a routine that already exists - never disturbing the space that already has its patterns.
